Primeur Zuidas, a 100% organic tulip liqueur with a limited edition of approximately 1860 bottles. Each 100 ml size bottle is individually numbered and hand-wrapped in specially designed packaging that can be personalized.
How many tulips?
A total of 6000 tulip bulbs were planted and harvested in Zuidas Amsterdam. That is, per liter about 33 tulips.
Flavour and colour
Batch 1: A fresh and light flavour, at the same time, earthly and flowery, soft but not too sweet. The colour is a natural light and reddish brown.
Batch 2: Velvety flavour with a hint of fresh citrus, with a translucent, golden colour.
Both batches are made with 100% organic ingredients.
A versatile drink
Tulip liqueur is not only a delicious pre-dinner aperitif, it is perfect for a wide range of applications. The renowned distillery restaurant De Pronckheer suggests: ‘In and on desserts, as a starter or in salad dressings, in a Kir cocktail, or other beautifully coloured cocktails, enjoyed with a scoop of ice cream.’
What is liqueur?
A liqueur is an alcoholic beverage made from a distilled spirit, wine or fruit juice, with added sugar. Most liqueurs have an alcohol content ranging from 15 to 40%. They are flavoured with essences of herbs, flowers, seeds, roots, fruit and peelings – sometimes as much as a hundred flavouring agents are used for one single liqueur.
